Cyber Fusion Analyst

Position: Cyber Fusion Analyst / Cyber security analyst Location:  Ft. Meade, MD- 100% On site Duration: Contract to Hire    Clearance: Must have active TS Clearance. IV Process- 1 Step Video interview   Open Shifts: (EST Time zone) Weekend Day Friday - Sunday 420am - 540pm Weekend Night Friday - Sunday 420pm – 540am   LCAT:- 6 years of exp with a MA 8 years of exp with a BA 10 years of exp with a AA 12 years of exp with no degree Must haves from manager: Must have hands on experience with cyber security analyst work. IAT level 2 certification or level 3 Intelligence background with a mix of cybersecurity or SOC/NOC Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) – (not mandatory) Must have Intel experience (means candidates that have worked within the Intelligence side of things like JCAC, SIGNIT and Intel or Intel Analyst experience).   More details: Threat Intelligence Analysis Monitor threat feeds, dark web forums, malware reports, and intel sources. Identify relevant threats targeting the organization’s industry, technologies, or region. Produce intelligence reports and briefings. Correlate Intelligence with Security Events Compare intel with logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. Determine if a new threat overlaps with suspicious activity inside the environment. Incident Support Work alongside SOC analysts and incident responders during active incidents. Provide context about threat actors, TTPs (tactics, techniques, procedures), and known indicators. Proactive Defense Recommend changes to detections, firewall rules, endpoint hardening, etc. Assist with threat hunting—searching the environment for threats that evaded defenses.
