Summary of Position: William Peace University (WPU) continuously seeks to appoint scholars with expertise in the field of Exercise and Sport Science in the Department of Mathematics and Science. Essential duties and responsibilities: Applicants are expected to have experience teaching this specific course, including experience with and the ability to use instructional technologies to support classroom activities. The Adjunct Instructor position supports the Exercise and Sport Science program and curricula Minimum Qualifications: * A Master's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology or closely related field (including but not limited to Exercise and Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiology, or Rehabilitation Sciences) * Hands-on experience with clinical exercise testing, a Parvo Medics metabolic cart, and other exercise physiological laboratory processes Preferred Qualifications: * A Doctoral degree in Kinesiology or closely related field (including but not limited to Exercise and Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiology, or Rehabilitation Sciences) * Certification with ACSM, NSCA, or NASM Hours per week: Varies by course load Job Posting Date: 01/30/2020 Priority Deadline: 12/18/2020 Priority Deadline Information: Priority consideration will be given to applications received by the Priority Date; however, applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
