Job Description

Safety Supervisor on behalf of this well-established manufacturer. As the lead safety representative on-site, the Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the plant's health and safety programs. This role requires a confident and hands-on safety professional with the ability to lead initiatives, deliver training, and ensure regulatory compliance across all departments. This is a full-time role based in Miami, Florida.The successful candidate will also:Serve as the primary contact for all health and safety matters on-site, working closely with leadership to implement policies and proceduresMonitor compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and corporate safety standardsConduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actionsLead incident investigations and develop preventative measures based on root cause analysisCollaborate with supervisors and team members to reinforce PPE use and safe work practicesCoordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and ongoing developmentManage workers' compensation claims and support return-to-work programsMaintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for internal and regulatory useWork with environmental personnel to conduct required testing and support inspectionsParticipate in emergency preparedness planning and lead safety committee initiativesQualifications The ideal candidate is a confident and resourceful safety leader with strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, who thrives in an industrial setting and is committed to building a culture of accountability.Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal communication in bothProven safety leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety auditing practicesExperience facilitating training and leading investigationsOSHA 30 Certification or equivalent preferredEffective interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organizationProficient in safety documentation and use of management systemsFlexible with work hours to meet operational and safety priorities Why is This a Great Opportunity With nearly 150 years of experience, this long-standing manufacturer is a global leader in engineered, structural, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
