As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor to leaders, managers, and employees, delivering consistent and effective HR partnership across the business. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on support focusing on talent strategy execution, employee engagement, change management, and workforce effectiveness while aligning HR solutions to business objectives.What You'll Do:Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert and partner to managers, directors, and business leaders, providing guidance on HR matters across employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent acquisition, and change managementProvide broad, day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of policies and a positive employee experienceExecute talent and engagement strategies to support business objectives, while ensuring practical and effective implementationPerform needs analysis to identify gaps in compensation, recruiting, talent development, and change management; collaborate with senior HR leaders and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver tailored, scalable solutionsFacilitate difficult conversations, resolve escalated conflicts, build consensus, and settle disputes related to HR policies and practicesCoach managers and directors on HR and business-related issues, proactively implementing solutions that align with HR strategy and business needsInterpret HR data and metrics, analyze root causes of work environment issues, and make data-driven recommendations to support organizational culture and performanceImplement programs, policies, and interventions to drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and a high-performing cultureApply change management techniques, interpret and enforce policies/compliance requirements, and mitigate organizational riskMaintain broad knowledge of the business, labor market trends, and HR best practices to inform decisions and drive key business resultsSupport consistent delivery of HR services across the operating entity while partnering with stakeholders at all levelsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited university required; advanced degree preferred8+ years of progressive human resources experience required, including supporting multiple functions and interacting with COEs and business leadersPrevious demonstrated HR expertise at Manager or HRBP level preferredStrong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation, and project management skillsProven business acumen and analytical ability with a track record of building relationships and influencing diverse groupsDemonstrated ability to implement and execute HR initiatives effectivelyCapability to interact confidently with individuals at all organizational levelsSkilled in navigating change processes in complex systemsStrong conflict resolution, situational assessment, and objective evaluation skillsAdvanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to exercise independent judgment, handle multiple priorities, and communicate complex issues clearlyPhysical & Mental RequirementsExercise independent judgment with strong attention to detailAnalyze, understand, and communicate complicated issues to ensure clear understandingDevelop solutions based on best practices and stakeholder feedbackSolicit input from managers and provide informed recommendationsEffectively facilitate discussions and deliver communications to large groupsCommunicate effectively via phone, email, and electronic meansHandle multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesWhy VB Spine?We believe in growing talent from within.
