Job DescriptionThe Art Director - Bell Helmets is responsible for shaping the overall visual direction of advertising campaigns and brand assets. This role blends strong design expertise with leadership, fostering a high-performing creative team and seamless cross-functional collaboration. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for innovation, the Art Director - Bell Helmets generates bold ideas and elevates the brand through compelling visual storytelling. Success in this role means delivering exceptional creative work with minimal oversight while maintaining brand consistency and impact.This position reports to the Creative Director and is expected to work from the Revelyst Adventure Sport Group Irvine Office at least 3 days a week. As the Art Director you will have an opportunity to: Oversee all design projects, ensuring brand consistency across all creative touchpoints and accuracy to marketing briefsConceptualize, collaborate, iterate, and deliver creative solutions that communicate brand objectivesLead design direction for seasonal campaigns, print catalogs, advertising, trade materials, consumer collateral, and morePartner with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager on all photo and video content for the brandCollaborate closely with merchandisers, product managers, and product designers to fully understand product details and seasonal goalsManage a team of 1 designers across varying experience levels, providing guidance and supportPartner with the Creative Director and Go-to-Market Creative Operations Manager to keep projects on schedule and ensure timely completionMentor and inspire the creative team, encouraging innovative thinking and elevating the overall quality of workCollaborate with copywriters to ensure tone and messaging align with visual directionStay current on contemporary and emerging design trends relevant to the brandYou have: 5-7 years of experience in a senior design or art direction role, ideally within an agency or in-house creative teamAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design toolsStrong conceptual thinking with the ability to lead visual storytelling across multiple platformsExperience directing photoshoots, video content, and other multimedia assetsExcellent design sensibility with a meticulous eye for detail and craftStrong time management and organizational skills, with experience managing concurrent projectsKnowledge of or interest in the action sports, moto, or cycling industries is a plusFamiliarity with creative trends and best practices across print, digital, and retail environmentsRelentless drive to create, iterate, and elevate creative outputConfident team leader and collaborator with excellent communication skillsAbility to provide clear direction and feedback to junior and mid-level designersCreative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPassionate about delivering work that is both strategic and visually compellingOccasional travel may be required for campaign shoots or seasonal research trips#LI-KK1#BellHelmetsPay Range:Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.We offer a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including: medical and dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, gear discounts and the ability to add value to an exciting mission!Our Postings are not intended for distribution to or use in any jurisdiction, country or territory where such distribution or use would violate local law or would subject us to any regulations in another jurisdiction, country or territory.
