Job Summary: Test Engineer to perform the preparation, performance and reporting of verification and validation testing of MRPC products. The candidate will support the completion of testing for both sustaining and new product development. Candidate would work as part of a highly integrated, very experienced team, in a dynamic environment that may occasionally involve working on more than one project simultaneously. Responsibilities: Preparation of Verification and Validation activities Work with the cross-discipline engineering staff to ensure the testability of systems requirements. Aid in the identification and coordination of internal and external test capabilities. Creation of test plans and protocols to guide testing activities. Support in the creation of required test fixtures. Ensure that test equipment is prepared and available for upcoming test activities. Execution of Test according to documented Test Protocols Performance of testing activities according to the project test plan and per the project schedule Real time evaluation and documenting of results for status reporting to project management. Reporting Capture of test results and reporting of pertinent observations in formal documentation. Coordinate the release of all documentation with cross functional team members. Education & Experience Level: Technical or university degree or equivalent testing engineering experience desired. Desired work experience is 4 or more years. Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with verification and validation test engineering role in a typical product development process. Ability to work with engineering teams to understand requirements and subsequent testing activities. Ability to be flexible in a fluid product development environment. ISO 60601-1 Medical Equipment test experience, specifically an understanding of patient monitor functions and parameters. An understanding of requirements that drive MR-Safe, Conditional and Unsafe labeling. Experience in automated testing processes to improve test efficiencies. Knowledgeable in test set up and fixture creation to aid engineering staff in the development of test support structure. Ability to disassemble and reassemble products as necessary for the creation of Production Equivalent Devices. Test scheduling and scoping to support project and program management estimates.
