Job DescriptionAn MOP Manager to lead and manage the MOP, MCM, and Responsible Oversight processes for data center renovation projects This role ensures safe, compliant, and well coordinated execution of multi disciplinary project work while maintaining Hyperscale clients' operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments. This position will be based out of Northern Virginia.Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management (or similar) within the construction or data center industry. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems is required. Working knowledge of interaction between disparate low voltage systems (BMS, EPMS, Fire Alarm) Excellent organizational and time management skills. Experience with MOP/SOP development and change-management workflows Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to learn and grasp new software tools and processes, identify deficiencies, and implement suggested changes. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites. Ability to pass background check. Must be able to work for any US Employer without current or future visa sponsorship.Preferred: Experience with data center construction renovation projects and additional requirements involved when working in a live compute environment. Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to MEP systems.Job Responsibilities: Draft and manage Methods of Procedure (MOPs) in alignment with project scope and operational requirements. Prioritize MOPs based on current needs. Align MOP writing team on current needs and 1, 2, and 3 week lookahead. Develop and maintain MOP and MCM tracker, providing data points to leadership to track key metrics against KPIs Coordinate with client on individual site schedules, aligning MOP work execution around client blockers Author Modeled Change Management process on clients' system. Drive client approval while maintaining agility to make changes on the fly. Coordinate many sites and scopes simultaneously. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate schedule or safety concerns. Maintain documentation, weekly updates, and communication through project management tools (e.g., Procore). Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements. Work with internal teams to develop best practices for executing the Responsible Oversight (RO) and Construction Administration Management (CAM) role. Coordinate with internal and external teams (engineering, project management, subcontractors) to gather necessary inputs for MOP procedures. Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, particularly related to MEP systems. Provide technical direction and support for Trade Partners and field crews in daily construction activities Provide construction and schedule updates to project management team Assist with coordination of client submittals, site logistics plans, and as-built documentation Assist with coordination of RFIs and maintain log as required Attend site visits with client and subcontractors Coordinate with estimating and project team to support RFQs and bid submittals Promote positive customer relationships Coordinate site access and badging requests Identify process bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvementPay Range: $120K/yr.Meet Your RecruiterTim Cassidy
