Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Set-Up Operator for our client close to Decatur, AL. You will perform a variety of operational functions we are seeking a highly skilled operator who can independently program, set up, and run CNC press brakes with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Read and understand detailed drawings and production routers Perform precise mathematical calculations related to bend deductions, angles, and layouts Plan sequence of operations based on part requirements Select and position correct flats, V-blocks, radius, and special-purpose die sets Program CNC controller to produce accurate bends Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and tape measures (standard and metric) Maintain quality standards in compliance with company policies and specifications Update computer records and production documentation Perform required preventative maintenance on press brakes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Calculate programming inputs for the controller Select proper tooling Minimum 5 years of CNC press brake setup and programming experience (Desired) Strong understanding of angles and geometric calculations Ability to work independently and maintain production standards Strong attention to detail and quality Complete full machine setup independently Plan and execute bending sequences efficiently and accurately High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school. Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given). Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime. Steel-toed boots required. Must pass background & drug screening. Schedule & Pay Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
