Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. GT teachers support the development of critical and creative thinking, foster independent inquiry, and address the unique social-emotional needs of gifted students. ECSE ESY SpecificA successful Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) ESY Teacher provides developmentally appropriate instruction and support to preschool-aged children with disabilities during the Extended School Year (ESY) period. This includes implementing IEP goals through play-based, structured, and routine-driven instruction that promotes growth in communication, motor skills, behavior, and early academics. The ECSE teacher collaborates with related service providers and paraprofessionals to meet individual needs, maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and support social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and nurturing relationships.ESY SpecificA successful Elementary Special Education ESY Teacher provides specially designed instruction aligned to students' IEP goals in academic, behavioral, and functional skill areas.
