Job DescriptionJob Title: Automation Controls EngineerCompany: Russo Operational Consulting Group (ROC)Location: Dallas, TXAbout the OpportunityA rapidly growing automation integrator delivering advanced machine design and manufacturing automation systems across medical device, aerospace, defense, and high-end industrial markets is seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer.Due to continued expansion, the organization is adding a senior-level engineer to support a strong project pipeline and help deliver complex automation systems from concept through commissioning.This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in hands-on automation environments and enjoy owning projects end to end.What You'll DoDesign and program PLC and HMI-based control systemsDevelop Allen Bradley PLC solutions using Rockwell Studio 5000Configure and program FactoryTalk View and HMI platformsDesign electrical control panels and schematics using AutoCAD ElectricalIntegrate robotics systems (Fanuc preferred)Support SCADA integration including IgnitionLead or support projects from concept through startup and commissioningTroubleshoot automation systems and improve performanceWork directly with engineering teams and customer stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For7-10 years of automation or controls engineering experienceStrong expertise with Allen Bradley PLC platformsRockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View proficiencyElectrical control panel design experienceIndustrial networking and I/O systems knowledgeRobotics integration experience (Fanuc preferred)Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related)Veterans with post-service automation and controls experience are strongly encouraged to apply.Why This Role100% growth year over yearExposure to diverse automation projects from custom machines to full assembly linesNon-micromanagement leadership styleCollaborative engineering cultureStrong support, tools, and clear expectationsCompensation: $110,000 - $150,000 + 5-10% Bonus
