End Date: TBD Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 Job Code: JPC-11869Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Food Manufacturing Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier sustainable food production company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients and create product samples with researchers based on batch records and bill of materials (BOMs) Prepare, cook, and serve product samples for sensory testing Maintain lab/kitchen equipment (e.g., pH meter calibration, cook equipment cleaning and/or maintenance) Manage ingredient and consumables inventory of the test kitchen by tracking current supply, submitting orders, and restocking supplies Discard expired, unused ingredients and consumables Maintain regular communication with kitchen staff to coordinate inventory needs Submit purchase orders (POs) and work with vendors to restock consumables Ship, receive, and organize ingredients, product samples, and equipment Demonstrate excellent record keeping and accountability Voice ideas, concerns and solutions to teammates - if you see something, say something Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized and safe workplace Qualifications: Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; a university degree in a science-related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2+ years of industry experience in a lab, kitchen, or R&D setting Proficiency using Google Workspace required Capability of working in a fast-paced, dynamic team effectively, including excellent communication and organization skills Precision, attention to detail, and efficient multitasking ability A positive, motivated, and hardworking attitude with a genuine desire to be helpful We need hard-working, reliable employees.
