Financial Controller

Job DescriptionOur client, Cleveland, TN is looking for a Site Financial Controller to join their team.Summary of Responsibilities:Participate in decision making process by assessing purchasing activityOversee Production and dissemination of monthly and annual financial reportsMaintain and manage of an adequate system of accounting recordsAccurately forecast relevant operations on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisDevelop annual budget in coordination with all relevant business partnersOversee maintenance and enforcement of established controls designed to mitigate financial reporting riskProactively analyze current and forecast information to optimize financial performanceProviding and communicating financial analysis and recommendations to management (sales, expenses, product mix)Oversee benchmarking, standardization and process improvement initiativesMonitor the accuracy of the company's reported financial resultsEnsure that reported results comply with accounting standards for public enterprisesMonitor provision of timely information for audits and other inquiriesAnalysis of standard product costing system and related improvementsOversee and audit physical inventory counts and monitor cycle count programDirect Month end close of the General LedgerContribute to team effort by collaborating with other site controllers and managementOther duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent4-6 years accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to use data whenever possible to drive your decisions, use of your strong analytical skills to translate data into action planning.Able to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:Proficient with ERP software, preferably Epicor CMS, and Microsoft OfficeCPA CredentialsPrior management experience This position offers competitive salary with a well known manufacturing company.
