Location:Bon Secours Fairfield HospitalPay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 16.50 USD HourlyWork Shift:Job Description We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!Work the register in the hospital cafeteria and provide excellent service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure that food is presented properly and the cafe is ready for service in a timely manner.Responsibilities ResponsibilitiesCater to all customer needs and treat every customer with respect, friendliness, and a smileBalance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with managementStock and monitor supply levels of condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go itemsMonitor temperatures for the tray line and maintain temperature logsKeep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying trash cansVacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areasAssist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficientlyQualifications Must be at least 18 years oldCommunicate effectively in English and work well in a team environmentMust practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniformPreferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)Physical RequirementsProlonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 poundsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the jobBenefitsWe offer flexible schedules, excellent training, competitive wages, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and promotion opportunities.
