Materials Manager

Position Title: Materials ManagerReports to: Plant ManagerPeople First. At Motus, we're revolutionizing the manufacturing industry and seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Materials Manager to help us make an impact and drive this position to new heights.A successful candidate will be high energy, driven, resourceful and a problem solver.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide leadership for the materials planning strategy, master production schedule, supply chain excellence, and inventory control while promoting lean initiativesImplement value stream schedulingManage periodic physical inventories or cycle accounting activities to ensure accurate financialsParticipate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actionsLead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list to achieve targeted RCRLead inventory control staff to ensure accurate reporting of inventoryDevelop and maintain departmental budgetMaintain all regulatory facility standardsDirect activities to ensure that storage requirements for ingredients, packaging and finished goods are metEnsure inspections of all inbound and outbound trucks, using established shipping and receiving proceduresFollow up with vendor issuesREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business or related5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment5+ years of scheduling and planning production and materialsMRP system experienceWho we areMotus Integrated Technologies is a dynamic, half-billion-dollar global leader in manufacturing high-quality headliners, interior trim, and fiber solution products for the automotive industry.
