About the job Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Architect Job briefWe are seeking a Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Architect with extensive experience in Vlocity Communications Cloud to lead the design and delivery of complex order management solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce Industries Order Management (OM) and the ability to architect scalable, modular, and high-performing solutions that support dynamic product offerings and multi-system orchestration across the telecom domain.ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Industries Order Management solutions within Communications CloudDesign and oversee implementation of order capture, product decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment flows using Industries OM capabilitiesCollaborate with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical design with business and operational goalsDefine and enforce best practices for product modeling, order lifecycle management, and guided selling experiencesArchitect scalable integrations between Salesforce Industries OM and external systems such as BSS/OSS, inventory, billing, and provisioning platformsProvide oversight on OmniStudio development (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards) for order capture and customer journeysDrive governance across development teams including design reviews, performance tuning, and code quality standardsSupport program-level planning, estimation, and roadmap development for order management workstreamsStay current on Salesforce Industries product roadmap and provide recommendations on how to leverage new features effectivelyRequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field7+ years of experience in Salesforce development/architecture roles, with at least 23 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries Order Management (Vlocity OM)Strong expertise in Communications Cloud, Vlocity Product Catalog (EPC), pricing, rules engine, and decompositionProven experience designing complex order orchestration flows and fulfillment integrationsDeep knowledge of OmniStudio framework (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards)Experience working with API integrations and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) in telecom or subscription-based servicesFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD toolingSalesforce Industries and OmniStudio certifications highly desirableStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
