Job Type Full-timeDescriptionLutz, FL - OnsiteThe Sr. Demand Planner will lead forecasting and planning efforts across DeMert Brands' portfolio of haircare products, including new innovations and core SKUs. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, minimizes out-of-stocks, and supports strategic growth initiatives with retail partners such as Target, Walmart, and Ulta. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and proactive in driving forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Analysis: Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts at SKU level using historical sales, promotional plans, and market trends.Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory KPIs; identify and address variances proactively. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align forecasts with business objectives.Lead monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to review forecast performance and adjust plans. Retail & External Partnerships: Incorporate retail insights and promotional impacts into forecasts by collaborating with external stakeholders (e.g., Harvest Group). New Product Launch Support: Model initial volume estimates and replenishment strategies for new product introductions. Tools & Process Improvement: Utilize demand planning tools such as StockIQ and Excel-based models for scenario planning and reporting. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and tools. Supply Chain Integration: Provide input into supply planning and procurement processes to ensure alignment with demand signals.RequirementsRequired Skills and Abilities:Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with S&OP processes and inventory optimization strategies. Preferred Certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP. IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF). Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field. 5+ years in Demand Planning, preferably in CPG or retail environments. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with demand planning software preferred.
