CNC Machinist / Operator - Snohomish WA area - 2213Our client in the Snohomish, WA area is a fast-growing contract manufacturer specializing in medical device implants and instruments who is looking for CNC Operators of various years of experience responsible for providing support for their Company.Position purpose/core responsibilities:The Operator will have exemplary manufacturing skills, working knowledge and experience on a variety of CNC machines and controls, and a dedication to being part of a world-class manufacturing team.Main Duties: Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and informs the lead person of discrepancies. Thoroughly inspects first part run Meets job standard times with minimal supervision Recognizes production problems and informs supervisor Understanding of basic machine language (G and M codes) Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using standard measuring tools Reads and interprets manufacturing / Engineering drawings Performs miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and proceduresQualifications: Works independently, follows instructions, can concentrate for long periods of time Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift Properly uses basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.) Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail Communicates well verbally and in writing Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity Team player with a can-do attitude Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:2-10 years' mill experience in the manufacturing industry with knowledge of speeds and feeds Experience with MS applications Strong skills and aptitude in math Completion of vocational or college training in machine shop (Certificate of Completion of basic machining course.)If interested, please send your updated resume in Word doc format to Michal at support@ with preferred pay requirements and availability and we will follow up very shortly.Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe.
