Process Engineer

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis, a rapidly growing small company in Huntsville, AL, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer to support Marshall Space Flight Center's Flight in multiple software-focused science and technology projects.Responsibilities and Duties: - Perform the engineering and analysis for the development and definition of Software Process Improvement tasks for ES50 software projects- Provide engineering analysis and support for the development and review of real-time systems, requirements, and interfaces- Ensure NPR and MPR compliance to science and technology projects across broad spectrumsRequirements and Qualifications:- US Citizenship required - Bachelor's degree in engineering or scienceExperience Required:- Minimum 8 years' experience in software or software process improvement- Must have an understanding of government requirements and standards- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills- Must have extensive knowledge of software engineering principles, processes, tools, and techniquesExperience Preferred:Familiarity with NASA NPR 7150.2 desired- Familiarity with JIRA desired- Familiarity with Confluence desiredWhat We Offer:Our industry-leading benefits package goes above and beyond competitive salary commensuration for those just beginning their career and seasoned professionals alike.
