Welder HelperWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized welder helper to join our team. This position involves grinding down welds, sanding materials, assembly of product, and marking & staging of fabricated items. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Properly wear the required PPE for designated taskSafely operate power hand tools and stationary equipment such as angle grinders, sanders, miter saws, drill press, etc..Ability to understand fabrication documents follow their instructionMust be proficient in reading a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inchEnsure all items are correctly identified, labeled, and staged for the appropriate departments.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of fabricated products to support production needs.Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or issues.Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.Perform other related duties as assigned.Attributes/Experience/Skills:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbsMust be proficient in reading a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inchBeing able to stand for long periods of timeStrong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in basic computer applications and operationHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in warehouse, manufacturing or fabrication role preferred.Work Hours/Benefits:Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm(30 min unpaid lunch) with potential for overtimeBenefits offered include medical, dental and vision.
