This individual will primarily perform reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes as well as help grow and deliver consulting valuation services for tax planning, financial reporting, and litigation. For more information about MaloneBailey, please visit: .Major Responsibilities & Duties:Perform reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposesPlan the scope of work for valuation engagements and oversee day-to-day activities and execution of multiple, concurrent engagementsAssume responsibility for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables, and effectively manage risk associated with engagementsManage client relationships and consult with clients in all aspects of the valuation processExplain and articulate valuation methodology issues and document accounting issues clearlyPrepare, draft and finalize valuation reports with a clear, concise writing styleService clients from multiple industries and deliver valuation engagements for financial reporting in audit reviewsManage and deliver business and intangible valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganizations, corporate services and management planning purposesThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:Valuation or relevant accreditation required5+ years experience in valuationExperience in valuations of intangible assets (customer relationships, trade names and technology); contingent consideration (earn-outs); share-based award valuations (SARs, options); warrants; convertible preferred stock; and convertible debt.Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax-related valuationsSelf-motivated with research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage client relationships and oversee multiple, concurrent valuation engagementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical financial modeling skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEducation and Licenses:Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field requiredASA, CFA, ABV, CPA certification preferred
