Reporting to the General Manager, they assist with running the School and creating an amazing experience for all students, parents and prospective customers.Roles and Responsibilities:Support daily operations as needed, including opening and closing the school, monitoring attendance and punctuality, and ensuring a clean, professional school environmentHandle complex scheduling, and manage phone and email communication for a busy music school, using a variety of software platforms on a daily basis including scheduling software, Google Workspace, CRM, Canva or other design toolsCreate a positive, inclusive environment by delivering top-quality customer service-greeting students and parents, answering questions, and resolving concernsEnsure a safe experience for students by overseeing adherence to the SOR Code of Conduct and safety policiesUnderstand and pitch the music program to prospective families, lead school tours, and enroll new students to support school growthAssist in the marketing of School of Rock by promoting our events and maintaining our active social media presence, including contributing to content creationProvide support to the General Manager by assisting with special projects and handling a variety of administrative responsibilities as requiredSkill Requirements:2+ years working Front Desk, Reception, and/or Customer Service roleExcellent customer service and relationship skills - welcoming, outgoing demeanor essentialExperience and interest in working with childrenSkilled at juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, being a self-starter, and problem-solvingAbility to be adaptable and flexible under pressureExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood team player who collaboratesBrings a positive energy and personality to the workplace every dayPossess a polished demeanor and conducts themselves with a high level of professionalism and integrityKnowledge of music and/or the music industry is preferredIt is the policy of the School of Rock to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
