Project Manager (Contractor) – Investment Banking Advisory   Location: NYC  (Hybrid 3 days/week). Rate $70/hr W2 Experience: 5–8+ years Business Coverage: Investment Banking Advisory & Private Capital Advisory (Private Equity–focused)   Role Summary   Top-tier independent investment bank seeking a front-office Project Manager (Contractor) to support initiatives across Investment Banking advisory business   The role partners directly with Managing Directors, sponsor coverage teams, and deal professionals to drive delivery of initiatives that enhance:   Private Equity sponsor coverage Sell-side business Front-office workflow efficiency This is a banker-facing delivery role   Core Responsibilities   Lead end-to-end execution of front-office initiatives aligned to origination and execution priorities Define scope, milestones, timelines, and success metrics Translate banker requirements into structured project plans Coordinate across Technology, Data, Compliance, and Operations Manage risks, dependencies, and scope in fast-moving deal settings Provide executive-ready updates to senior stakeholders Oversee UAT and ensure solutions meet front-office usability standards Required Experience   5–8+ years in: Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Private Capital Advisory environments Project Management supporting front-office teams Good understanding of: Advisory deal lifecycle (origination $B"*(B closing) Private Equity sponsor coverage models Experience delivering initiatives tied directly to revenue-producing teams Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate independently in high-pressure environments Preferred   Experience with sponsor coverage or deal tracking platforms (CRM - DealCloud platform a huge plus) Exposure to workflow automation or AI-enabled productivity initiatives Background at a top-tier advisory or independent investment bank   What Success Looks Like: Improved visibility and coordination across active engagements Measurable workflow efficiency gains for bankers On-time delivery aligned with timelines committed Apply today! -- Cindy Wing Lenmar Consulting, Inc.
