Thus, LCA provides opportunities which allow students to realize their God-given potential and to live lives that glorify God in the spiritual, academic, social, physical and vocational realms.POSITION SUMMARY:The Summer Care Teacher will lead students each and every day through various activities, learning opportunities, and helping students grow their social and physical skills while also learning to respect others and develop their Christian character.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Must be 18 years of ageMust know Christ as Savior and Lord and be growing in relationship with himMust be flexible and open to changeMust enjoy spending time with elementary-aged childrenESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are the responsibilities of the Summer Care Teacher in relation to:GENERALSupervision of students to and from bus rides, while at morning outings, and afternoon classroom activitiesCounsel with students when behavioral guidelines are not being adhered toEstablish and enforce guidelines for bus rides, student activities, and classroom behaviorDevelop social interaction with students during game room time, off campus activities, and indoor and outdoor recessCommunicate with parents in conferences with Summer Care DirectorSPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP Act as the spiritual leader of school and community. Show evidence of a consistent time of personal Bible study, prayer and outreach. Maintain a Christ-like attitude. WORK SCHEDULE The Summer Care Teacher will work a 40-hour week (Monday-Friday) from the first week of June through the first week of August8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour break
