DescriptionEmergency Physicians Professional Association (EPPA) was founded in 1969 and is owned and governed by its participating physicians. Our physician group teams more than 300 board-certified emergency physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs), including physician assistants and nurse practitioners, to provide expert emergency care efficiently and effectively. Our providers staff hospital emergency departments across the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and rural Minnesota. We also own and staff our four Twin Cities Metro Urgency Room locations.The IT Operations Support Specialist is a key member of the information technology team, providing direct assistance to the System Administrator, Technical Analyst, and Desktop Technicians. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to the overall security and efficiency of the organization's technology environment. This role is ideal for IT professionals seeking to broaden their expertise across cloud administration, identity management, endpoint support, and cybersecurity.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 3 years' IT experienceAbility to obtain industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar within one year of hirePrevious experience in a multi-tiered IT support environmentHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud servicesProficiency with OKTA for identity and access managementFamiliarity with OpenText (ZIX) and Abnormal or similar email security solutionsExperience with the ManageEngine suite for IT operations and supportKnowledge of cybersecurity suites and security monitoring tools, including experience with Varonis for data security, Semperis for identity threat detection, and phishing simulation/training tools such as KnowBe4Experience with HL7 interface standards and using MIRTH for healthcare data integrationKnowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks for IT service management
