REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER (RHRBP) Location; Huntington Beach, CA (4 days onsite, Friday remote) JOB DESCRIPTION The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, supporting organizational growth and operational excellence across a dynamic, multi-site environment. This role requires deep expertise in HR Operations and exposures in supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), especially in integration and change management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, business-minded, and comfortable traveling extensively to support leaders and employees across locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic HR Partnership Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and growth initiatives. Provide consultative support on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee relations. Serve as a trusted advisor through periods of transformation, integration, and change. Mergers and Acquisitions Support post-merger integration efforts, including onboarding, communications, culture alignment, and policy harmonization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely integration of acquired entities HR Operations. Oversee and execute core HR operational processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability. Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows, and shared processes. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions. Employee Relations and Compliance Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and performance issues with professionalism and discretion. Provide guidance on employment law, company policies, and best practices. Support leaders with performance management, terminations, and conflict resolution. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner roles in a manufacturing setting, aerospace / defense background preferred. Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions. Excellent knowledge of HR Operations and employment laws. Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management skills. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (WA, OR, CA and UT). Travel and On-Site Support Travel up to 50% to support multiple sites, integration activities, and leadership teams. Build strong on-site relationships with managers and employees to maintain HR presence and credibility. Preferred / Plus Experience Experience supporting or partnering with a Shared Services HR organization. Working knowledge of compensation programs, job architecture, market pricing, and incentive plans. Experience supporting multi-state or distributed workforces.
