Summary:AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a progressive Vice President of Tree Crops Operations to join our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The Vice President of Tree Crops holds full P&L accountability for AgReserves' worldwide Tree Crops portfolio, sets and executes the division's growth and operational strategy, ensures world class performance across the supply chain (from agriculture through processing and distribution), leads all commercial activities (marketing and sales), and drives disciplined business development including greenfield growth and acquisitions in alignment with AgReserves' long term objectives.Responsibilities:Create, evolve, and execute a clear, multi-year division strategy-covering portfolio, geographies, product categories, and routes to market-to meet growth, margin, and ROI objectives.Build a data driven market and competitive intelligence program, integrating internal teams and external resources to inform category participation, pricing, and investment priorities.Sponsor process improvements to enhance throughput, cost, and quality across the division supply chain. Serve on AgReserves' Executive Leadership Team, shaping enterprise strategy and policies and aligning division priorities with total company direction. Deliver operational excellence across agricultural production, processing, marketing and food safety-standardizing performance through KPIs (safety, quality, yield, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, service levels). Build and retain a high-performance leadership team and culture; model operational excellence and accountability.Own division budgeting and forecasting, capital plans, and asset health; approve and execute operating and capital projects and manage returns on invested capital. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and robust benchmarking/management and accountability reporting to headquarters.Oversee credit policy and inventory controls to optimize cash flow and working capital.Lead organic growth (e.g., land acquisition, development or mid-stream opportunities) consistent with company strategies in partnership with Finance, Land & Water, and other AgReserves functions.Maintain a dynamic "heat map" of target categories/markets; cultivate relationships with acquisition targets and lead cross functional due diligence and integration planning.Monitor economic/political environments and industry trends in existing and target geographies to inform sequencing and risk management.Approve and govern a focused marketing plan aligned with division strategy; ensure robust market segmentation, pricing/margin analysis, and brand stewardship.Direct product management to maintain current competitor/product analytics that guide pricing, margin, and innovation pipelines.Establish and manage commercial alliances, key accounts, and distribution partnerships; personally engage with strategic customers where appropriate.Ensure compliance with legal, occupational safety, food safety, environmental regulations, and labor laws across all division operations; uphold GAP and other industry standards. Champion risk management and audit readiness; maintain divisional policies aligned to ARI standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with MBA or equivalent advanced degree.15+ years of progressive leadership with full P&L responsibility across multi-site, complex operations-preferably in permanent plantings or perishable agribusiness (tree nuts, citrus, olives, etc.). Demonstrated leadership in two or more of: Operations, Sales/Marketing, Finance, and Agriculture.Success leading multi-cultural teams across multiple countries and functions within a matrixed organization.Proven M&A experience, including diligence and post-acquisition integration.Working knowledge of agronomy for tree crops (growing cycles, planting rates, irrigation), fertilizer/chemical application, and good agricultural practices; familiarity with food safety programs. Exceptional financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, margin management) and comfort with KPI dashboards and executive reporting. Executive communication skills; strong influence leadership and stakeholder management.Fluent English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred for division geographies.Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (video, chat), and modern analytics/BI platforms.Experience scaling automation or advanced technologies within supply chain/operations networks desired.Exposure to commodity pricing/marketing and international trade dynamics helpful.This position is based at the Wasco, CA office.
