ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Level IV Certification in Transportation/Highway construction from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) OR a Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Land Surveyor (LS) license issued by the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection AND/OR have experience in surveying and civil engineering field, construction and inspections of sanitary sewers, storm drains, and/or road drains. SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: Oral Board panel interview weighted 100% and AUTOCAD performance examination (Pass/Fail).
