Electrical Engineer - Energy Infrastructure

We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer in our Building Engineering Division - Energy Infrastructure team in our Buffalo, NY office. LaBella's Energy Infrastructure team provides comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy consultancy, including feasibility analyses and design. Our engineers are well-versed in all aspects of building and energy systems design relating to a variety of new construction, renovations, and design/build projects for a variety of clientele. The Electrical Engineer will work with our team in a lead role on a variety of decarbonization/electrification/renewable energy projects to develop projects in feasibility stages all the way through design and construction. A successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively with clients. Duties * Design building electrical systems * Design photovoltaic, battery storage systems, and grid interconnection * Field investigations to document existing conditions * Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process. * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements
