Job DescriptionCNC Machinist / ProgrammerLocation: Akron, OHShift: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (½ hour lunch). Overtime may be required during the week or on Saturdays.Pay & BenefitsPay is based on experiencePaid health care coverageHealth Savings Account (HSA)Short- and long-term disability coveragePaid dental and optical insurancePrescription safety glass reimbursementPaid holidays2 weeks paid vacation after 1 yearSimple IRA with company matching contributionJob ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate CNC mills and routersRead and interpret CAD files, blueprints, sketches, and specificationsProgram 3D contour milling in WorkNC and/or HypermillOperate HAAS & Okuma mills, Quintax and Onsrud routersMachine molds, fixtures, and modelsWork with a variety of materials including wood, aluminum, steel, and urethane tooling boardSelect proper tools, feeds, and speeds for each jobInspect machined components for dimensional accuracyRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of CNC machining or programming experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterityAbility to read and use measurement equipmentStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Good problem-solving ability and willingness to follow instructionsBasic machine shop math skillsAble to stand for long periods during production runsValid driver's license and good driving recordWork Environment & Career GrowthThis is a first-shift opportunity with steady hours and a supportive team.
