As a maintenance supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance staff, prioritizing work, and assigning work requests. You will be manage the flow of work, evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, order necessary materials, coordinate sub-contractors, and provide support to the Director of Building and Grounds for all capital projects. You will report to the Director of Building and Grounds. You will work onsite.Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department. Manage full time, part time, temporary and summer help. Oversee all seasonal work such as summer lawn cutting, winter snow removal and pool maintenance. Train maintenance workers. Organize and assign daily work assignments. Develop and implement preventative maintenance work schedule. Administer preventative maintenance program for all agency equipment. Oversee the daily flow of maintenance requests and meet maintenance needs of agency programs. Participate in planning and scheduling of project work, following all agency guidelines on bidding. Recommend and oversee any sub-contract work performed at agency properties. Maintain all required documents about the Buildings and Grounds Department. Support construction projects involving the agency. Ensure safety compliance in all facilities according to licensing and accreditation bodies and OSHA and other regulatory bodies. Provide estimate information for all in-house projects to leadership With the Director of Buildings and Grounds, provide in-house renovations work at Agency facilities staying within approved budget and schedule. Purchase Maintenance Department supplies and equipment. Pay special attention to areas and equipment necessary to the health and well-being of the children and staffRequirements and Education: Associate's degree and at least three to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
