AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview AST SpaceMobile is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused HR Administrator / Generalist to support our rapidly scaling manufacturing operations. This role is critical in driving HR operations, workforce analytics, and HRIS optimization while ensuring a best-in-class employee experience. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in HR generalist functions combined with advanced data capabilities, including Excel modeling and dashboard reporting. This role will operate as a key partner to leadership, providing insights that influence workforce planning, labor cost management, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle * Administer end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with emphasis on Texas regulations * Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HRIS systems * Support employee relations by responding to inquiries and assisting with issue resolution HRIS & Systems Management (Rippling) * Serve as a primary administrator for Rippling HRIS, including data integrity, workflows, and reporting * Manage system updates, audits, and process improvements * Partner with HR leadership to optimize system utilization and automation Data Analytics & Reporting * Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics (headcount, attrition, labor cost, etc.) * Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, formulas, and data modeling) * Analyze workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership * Build and support reporting tools using Power BI (preferred) Workforce Planning & Business Support * Partner with operations and leadership to support workforce planning initiatives * Assist in tracking and analyzing labor utilization, staffing levels, and productivity metrics * Support large-scale hiring, conversion, and ramp-up initiatives Compliance & Policy Administration * Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures * Assist in audits, investigations, and compliance reporting * Support implementation and communication of HR policies across all shifts Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with Payroll, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on workforce data * Support leadership with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and HR initiatives * Participate in site-wide meetings and provide HR visibility across shifts Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration/ Business Management or equivalent years of experience. Experience: A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience administrative experience within a HR Administrator position or Data Analytics or similar environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Power BI * Rippling HRIS * Microsoft Office 365 * Detail oriented * Event planning for internal meetings * Canva or similar design software Soft Skills: * Strong interpersonal skills, Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Physical Requirements * Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods. * May require sitting and or standing on hard concrete surfaces for 8-12 hours per day. * Bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, climbing * Carrying up to 15 lbs. may be required. * Typing up to 8-12 hours per day. * Reading, identifying colors of labels or signage.
