MUSCOGEE ( CREEK) AND INDIAN PREFERENCE. General Summary: The Intake Worker serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance through Social Service programs. This position is responsible for meeting with applicants-either by phone or in person- to gather information, assess needs, and determine initial eligibility for available services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Interview applicants to identify needs and gather relevant information. Determine eligibility for Social Service programs. Communicate required documents, next steps, and the overall process to applicants so they know what to expect. Refer individuals to appropriate community resources. Review pending applications and request updated information as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in Social Services Preferred Requirements: Associates Degree and 2 years experience in Social Services.
