We are successful when we collaborate with and value each other like family, maintain a hunger to delight guests and continuously innovate, listen closely for even the smallest need for improvement, stand up for convictions, and genuinely own our responsibilities as if our name is on the outside of the building.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary focus will be to provide support on commercial, litigation, employment, privacy, compliance, information security, insurance and intellectual property matters and to draft, review and negotiate a range of legal documents including, but not limited to, vendor contracts, sponsorship agreements, event licenses, technology agreements, retail transactions, waivers and other agreements directed by the General Counsel. Location: Atlanta, GA (not a remote position)Support team and stadium operations with review and negotiation of legal documents and presence at stadium eventsCoordinate with the NFL, MLS, NWSL, TGL and related entities to anticipate, identify and manage legal exposureReview and interpret NFL, MLS, NWSL and TGL rules and regulations to ensure complianceConduct legal research relating to laws, regulations, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other materials as requestedEnsure compliance with privacy and data protection laws and regulationsReview advertising and marketing submissions for compliance with applicable League and governmental requirementsManage document repository to ensure compliance with appropriate laws and internal policies and proceduresQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school and an applicable state license to practice law2-4 years experience at a law firm and/or in-house role with substantive training in either litigation, corporate, real estate, intellectual property or employment lawAbility to draft, review and negotiate legal documents and correspondenceSuperior research and written and oral communication skillsExcellent proofreading ability and very strong attention to detailDemonstrated record of exhibiting strong business judgementAbility and flexibility to work and appreciate the varying interests of key stakeholders and a demonstrated ability to build consensus among multiple internal and external constituentsAbility to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaintsAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityInterpersonal skills - listens to others, works well in a team environmentCan prioritize work activities and use time efficiently while producing high quality deliverablesAdaptability - adapts to change in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to handle frequent changesDependability - consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to manager's instructionsStrong computer skills - including all Microsoft Office software programsAbility to work extended business hours including nights, weekends and holidaysMust successfully pass a background checkWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
