About the job 3rd Shift Sanitation Industrial Sanitation Crew 3rd ShiftPay: $17.50/hrSchedule: 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM - 6:30 AM (Friday morning)Location: Food Manufacturing Facility near Downtown Grand RapidsA fast-paced, hands-on role with a small, close-knit company that values its team like family. This position focuses on maintaining top-tier cleanliness and food safety standards in an industrial food manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize industrial production and packaging equipmentDisassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough sanitationFollow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines (SQF standards)Handle cleaning chemicals properly and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresMaintain a safe and organized workspaceQualifications:Industrial sanitation experience is required (Janitorial or housekeeping experience does NOT qualify)Previous food manufacturing sanitation experience is preferredComfortable working in a wet, cold, and fast-paced environmentAbility to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periodsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow safety proceduresA great opportunity for individuals looking for a long-term role in a supportive work environment.
