Equipment Manager (Unpaid Internship)

Virginia Beach United Soccer is seeking a dedicated and organized Equipment Manager to oversee the management, preparation, and distribution of team equipment for practices and games. This role ensures that all necessary gear is maintained, inventoried, and available for players and staff. The Equipment Manager will work closely with the coaching staff, operations team, and facility personnel to support the smooth execution of training sessions and matches.Key responsibilities:Field Setup & Breakdown: Assist in preparing the playing field before games, including goals, benches, signage, and any necessary equipment. Ensure proper breakdown and cleanup post-game.Game Day Operations: Assist in overseeing all team operational aspects during games, ensuring a smooth experience for players, coaches, referees.Troubleshooting & Assistance: Address any logistical or operational issues that arise, providing support to teams, referees, and staff as needed. Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with event operations personnel to execute game-day plans efficiently.Facility & Equipment Management: Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and facilities are maintained throughout the event.
