TITLE: Principal Experience Designer TYPE: Contract LOCATION: 100% Remote – HQ is in Fort Washington, PA ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Remote START DATE: April 2026 SHIFT: Must be available to work EST hours We are looking for a Principal Experience Designer to help define and elevate the digital experience within our New Technology Suite—a collection of interactive tools that empower homebuyers to envision, personalize, and select the features of their ideal home. This role focuses on crafting a refined and intuitive journey that reflects the sophistication of a luxury brand. You'll build on an established design system to create clear, elegant, and highly usable digital experiences that transform complex choices into simple, engaging interactions. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and delivery of visual and interactive experiences for the New Technology Suite, ensuring all work aligns with established design systems and brand principles. Partner with cross-functional teams—including developers and product owners—to bring design concepts to life with precision and polish. Produce flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs that balance user needs with strategic business goals. Establish and evolve design patterns that improve clarity, accessibility, and consistency across the product ecosystem. Contribute to the growth and refinement of the company's design system, ensuring scalability and alignment across platforms. Oversee assigned design initiatives through every stage—from early exploration to final delivery. Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure a cohesive and premium visual experience across all digital touchpoints. QUALIFICATIONS At least 7 years of experience designing digital products, ideally in a consumer-facing environment. A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, intuitive UX, and exceptional attention to detail. Mastery of Figma and similar tools, including hands-on experience building or maintaining design systems. Confident contributor to large-scale initiatives, helping shape product strategy and representing design at the leadership level. Clear communicator who thrives in collaboration and values constructive feedback. Expert-level ability in both visual design and usability. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Proven record of delivering complex, high-impact projects that demonstrate strategic thinking and creative depth.
