This position must be located in or near the Minneapolis, Minnesota, region. This position will play a critical role in the success of Zak Designs' business at Target.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business needs arise.Maintain existing business relationships, focusing on business growth year over yearGain a deep understanding of customer needs and priorities within various categories.Develop sales/account plans to meet customer objectives while operating within Zak Designs' initiatives and guidelines.Maintain and build offline planning to understand event ROI, net sales, and profitability.Assist in building iterations (seasonal/POG) of customer-specific category planogramsManage the customer P&L (where applicable) and set clear financial targets to hit for the customer/categories.Market visits and regular store walks must be completed to ensure retail execution and excellence on the shelf.Maintain communication with internal supply chain/customer solutions stakeholders and customer supply chain contactsContinuous communication of customer needs to internal stakeholders and collaboration with customers and internal teams on joint business plansTake the initiative and pursue opportunities to gain distribution on new products and improve product exposure.Work closely with the Sales Analyst to collect NPD and customer-based data; run correlation analysis to better understand which levers drive growth and identify opportunities.Preparation for scheduled customer business reviews.Provide key inputs for forecasting and analytics teams - own the sales trend!RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, communication, or a related fieldThree (3) to five (5) years of direct Target experience, industry, and product-specific experience a plusWell-developed interpersonal / communication skills and the ability to build relationships to drive resultsProven ability to analyze and translate complex data into clear, actionable business strategiesStrong presentation and communication skills with planning and implementation abilitiesDemonstrates problem-solving skills and working under tight timelines, multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholdersComputer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient with all Target-specific systems.Must be located in or near Minneapolis, MinnesotaThis position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
