Our company may be 60 years old, but the real growth is just getting started.The Role:The Blending Operator is responsible for the blending of powders and liquids in the mixing department. The individual will be blending chemicals with a range of hazard ratings, including irritants, corrosives, and oxidizers, so the ability to follow safety procedures and wear the proper personal protective equipment is extremely important. The individual must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. The Blending Operator must be able to follow batch sheet instructions and perform associated inventory transactions. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn, and demonstrate good attention to detail. What You Will Do:Blending batches of liquids and powders following batch picking sheetsEnsure safety, quality, and productivity standards are metWork safely with chemicals with varying hazard ratingsPulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished batchesPerforming inventory transactions in the Urnex MRP system to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurateSafely operate a forklift to get materials necessary to perform dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
