This role is responsible for operating metal stamping presses and supporting assembly processes to ensure quality production and consistent output.ResponsibilitiesOperate hand-operated metal stamping presses for assembly operationsReview job travelers and part drawings to produce accurate partsPerform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and dimensionsComplete production paperwork, including tracking quantities and scrapMove materials and finished parts using pallet jacks as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 6S standardsFollow all safety, environmental, and company proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedMust HavesHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periodsComfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environmentAbility to follow safety and quality procedures consistentlyPrevious manufacturing or assembly experienceExperience operating stamping presses or similar machineryFamiliarity with production reporting or job travelersPreferred SkillsExperience in metal stamping or fabrication environmentsBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issuesExperience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practicesForklift or pallet jack experienceAbility to read basic blueprints or technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and production accuracy mindset
