Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.Why You'll Love Working HereFounded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings. Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. You'll turn ideas into action by managing social channels, building email content, and capturing the energy of our programs, events, aquatics moments, and community activations.What You'll DoCapture and create compelling photo and video content across programs, events, aquatics, and community activations.Edit short and long form video for social, email, and digital platforms.Manage and publish content across social media channels, including captions, scheduling, and engagement.Execute monthly content calendars and paid social campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives.Draft and send marketing emails, including member, donor, and campaign communications.Implement campaign briefs and support storytelling for programs, events, and revenue generating initiatives.Maintain organized content libraries and digital assets.Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and leadership to bring campaigns to life.Track performance and share insights to improve reach and engagement.Support events and activations, including some evenings and weekends.Who You AreYou have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.You bring 2-4 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.You have hands-on experience with video editing and digital storytelling tools.You have experience drafting marketing emails, preferably.You are a strong visual and written storyteller with an eye for engaging content.You have experience using creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (preferred) or Canva.You are comfortable working with photo and video editing tools.You thrive in active, community-based environments.You can work evenings and weekends as needed.You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.You are comfortable collaborating with agencies, cross-functional teams, and organizational leadership.You are committed to asset-framed storytelling and culturally grounded communication.You maintain regular and punctual attendance, which is an essential function of this role.You can maintain current CPR, AED, and BBP certifications (training provided during onboarding for new hires).You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet V3 Sports' driving record requirements.
