La Posada at Pusch Ridge is seeking a passionate and dependable Spanish Instructor to teach classes on our campus to interested residents. Responsibilities include teaching both oral and written Spanish, developing and tailoring lesson plans for beginner-level classes, and potentially introducing multi-level classes as interest and skill levels grow.Share your passion and inspire our residents in the Spanish language and its culture.Frequency: 2/weekDays/times to be determined$45.00/hour classSpanish Teacher Responsibilities:Developing lesson plans and curricula based on a variety of levels and backgrounds.Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.Teaching writing and Spanish composition classes within the framework of the class.Familiarity on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.Ability to maintain class(es) communication through email group(s).Teaching students about Spanish culture, which may include festivals, traditional food, dress, and social conventions.Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.Spanish Teacher Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in Spanish language, literature, or an equivalent may be required.Near native fluency.A teaching certificate or license may be required.Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.Detail-oriented and resilient.If you believe you would be a good fit for this position and you live by the values of integrity, compassion, and respect for seniors and co-workers, then you may be the candidate we're looking for!Apply today to start your new adventure!
