Stacker/Assembly $17.00 an hour, all shifts

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a growing food production company in Elma are looking for associates to assist in a stacker and assembly role. In this role you will be responsible for boxing product that come off the end of the production line and putting onto pallets. Pay Rate: $17.00 an hourShifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd weekends as wellWork Specifications - Responsibilities:Responsible for food safety and qualityKnow pallet stacking patterns on all productsCheck for defects on case - missing codes, missing straws, trays glued, shrink wrap sealed properly, correct cardboardFollow proper lifting techniquesPrint out pallet tags correctlyEnsure that all cases are stacked on individual pallets according to specified filler and spec sheets (no mixing of cases on pallets)RequirementsEducation/Prerequisite Requirements:Minimum High School diploma or equivalentBasic understanding and execution of food plant GMPsQuality mindsetAbility to work in a team oriented environmentCapable of lifting and stacking 30-40 lbs throughout shift/Proper lifting techniquesPackage/case defectsMust have reliable transportation to ensure on-time attendance for all scheduled shiftsBenefitsParallel Employment Group is an equal opportunity employer#IND456
