The Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing output. This role supports daily production activities, troubleshoots basic equipment issues, performs routine inspections, and ensures compliance with all company and regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Point to point soldering and wiringAssemble/test parts using blueprints and schematicsTest functionality of soldered sensorsAssemble prototypes in conjunction with project engineerFollow documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and proper functioning of partsCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goalsFollow all safety policies, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, quality, and safetyMaintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principlesPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environmentKnowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, including crimping and solderingAbility to use common hand and power toolsPrevious experience work on assembly under a microscopeExperienced in micro-assembly operationsAbility to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and safety documentsBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machineryStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent time management and organization skillsAbility to follow, understand and write written procedures in EnglishLift, push, or pull up to 40 IbsBasic computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:Soldering skills certified to IPC J-STD-001 standards preferredFine pitch skills a plusWork Environment:Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery noise, moving equipment, and production materialsCompensation:The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time and will not require sponsorship either now or in the future to obtain an employment visa.
