We hire top talent who shares our values!The RoleBlastOne is looking for a Senior Buyer to join our growing team! We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to source, inventory and secure BlastOne Engineered Products parts. We are looking for a candidate that brings an innovative, positive, "can-do" attitude to work each day. This position will report to the Purchasing Manager to work in our Engineered Products (EP) team and will ensure EP has the inventory parts available to build equipment on a daily basis. BlastOne will provide you with a great working environment, positive culture, and an opportunity to advance in a growing facility!Skills/QualificationsA minimum of five years' experience leading procurement of industrial equipment and the supporting parts to produce said equipment whether fabricated or purchased.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.A history of sourcing through multiple channels (including cold calling)Familiar with BlastOne Engineered products (Dust Collectors, storage hoppers, blasting equipment)Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Analyze current and forecast activity for buying and maintaining proper inventory levelsNegotiate and manage purchase orders for mechanical and electrical commodities, as well as items to be fabricated per engineering drawings / specificationsBuild long term strategic supplier relationships fostering collaboration to improve total cost and on time deliveriesExpedite timely responses for RFQ quotation acknowledgements and responsiveness to (RFQ) commercial and technical clarificationsManage material delivery dates to prevent material shortagesCollaborate on supply chain operations and financial analysisExperience in vendor management and supplier relationship managementProven track record of cost savins and process improvement initiativesTracks KPIs for on time deliveries, supplier quality and cost reductions.Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, order preparation and trackingExperienced with Microsoft Office Suite of products and NetSuite Enterprise software a plusAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyIs a Team Player and excels in communication, both written and verbalTravelUp to 10% travel to suppliers in North AmericaThe Perks working at BlastOneGreat family culture with a meaningful missionFlexible time offGenerous 401k policyIndustry leading Health Insurance & Benefits programAbility to put your personal stamp on the success of a companyIncredible opportunities to grow within the company and the industry, both your responsibilities and compensationPersonality / Core Value RequirementsBlastOne is a unique company.
