Position Details * Reports to General Manager * Direct oversight of 0-1 associates Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate planned maintenance, inspections, repairs, and complex troubleshooting activities in compliance with safety and HSE standards. * Manage day-to-day facility maintenance operations, providing leadership and direction to internal maintenance staff and supervising overall facility condition and performance. * Establish, implement, and maintain standards and procedures for operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. * Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and service providers; review, approve, and maintain documentation, work orders, proposals, and completed paperwork. * Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance projects and medium-scale capital improvements, including budgeting, expenditures, and major maintenance initiatives. * Obtain, evaluate, and manage vendor quotes, purchase orders, contracts, and project timelines. * Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, inspections, and failure analysis as required. * Research, evaluate, and recommend tools, equipment, technologies, and service improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness. * Collaborate with internal departments to support facility modifications, equipment changes, space reconfigurations, and operational projects. * Ensure facilities meet regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements for a safe workplace. * Develop and communicate consolidated reporting on budgets, financials (monthly and quarterly), contracts, and maintenance activities. * Monitor work order status, ensuring timely completion and service quality. * Lead safety initiatives and participate in safety committees to promote compliance with SOPs and HSE policies. * Ensure consistent attendance and operational availability. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Mechanical aptitude. * Basic knowledge off hand tools and power tools. * Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holiday. * High attention to detail. * Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment. * Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic. * Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly. * Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. * Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities * Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team * At Ferguson, we care for each other.
