MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES - to include, but are not limited to the following:Act as a key liaison bridging commodity and component sourcing strategies between Asia-based suppliers and Mexico manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment on cost, quality, lead time, and supply continuity.Identify, evaluate, and develop global sourcing strategies to secure reliable supply of raw materials and components while mitigating supply chain risks.Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, performance management (KPIs/scorecards), and continuous improvement to optimize total cost of ownership, quality, and service levels.Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and SIOP to support new product introduction (NPI), drive strategic growth initiatives, and ensure successful product launches.Proactively monitor industry trends and supply market conditions to mitigate risks, prevent disruptions, and maintain continuity of supply and customer lead times.Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.Collaborate with Purchasing and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) team to establish goals and drive performance in inventory service levels and cost.Travel domestically and internationally as required to support supplier development, sourcing initiatives, and project execution.EDUCATION and RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree is required, (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field)3-5 Years of related work experience is required.Demonstrated sourcing experience with global suppliers, particularly in Asia and MexicoExperience supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
