Hours will vary based on the workload required based on the timeline of the study, such as number of participants per week or data analysis. Work tasks will occur at GWU Occupational Therapy Department and at home.Position Specific Summary The graduate student will work with other team members such as Kennedy Center staff, site staff and participants, and research faculty. This requires a high level of professionalism and advanced knowledge of research measures and design. The graduate student will attend meetings with the entire research team to discuss data collection and analysis. The graduate student will be solely responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring data input in RedCap. This will include advanced knowledge of RedCap's system. It is expected that the graduate student is able to independently manage workload and demonstrate initiative in the team.The student will perform administrative and research tasks under general supervision by a faculty member or research coordinator.Tasks may include data collection, REDcap maintenance, supervision and training of other student staff, assistance with presentations, and attending monthly meetings.Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to Occupational Therapy Department needsStandard Position Description The student will perform administrative and research tasks under general supervision by a faculty member or research coordinator. Tasks may include: contribute to peer reviewed research and write research memos of findings, assist with presentations, supervision and training of other student staff, write and run statistical programs to analysis data.
