Job Description3RD SHIFT WELDING TECHNICIAN NEEDED - JACKSON, MICHIGANA Leading Automotive Supplier in the Jackson, Michigan area needs a 3rd Shift Welding Technician. Prospective Candidates should be experienced working with Motoman & Fanuc Robots and Allen Bradley PLC s. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Hourly Compensation, Off Shift Premium, Paid Vacation and Good Benefits.RESPONSIBILITIES:Set-up and Teach Robots as requiredTroubleshoot and adjust robots, Weld Controllers, etc. using PLC s and HMIAssist with changeover of equipment, components and toolingProvide support to production in order to ensure a smooth production run: i.e Setup, tool change, problem solvingAdjust MIG, Spot and Arc Brazing Welding Schedules on Medar, Lincoln, Fronius and Panasonic Weld ControllersMaintain equipment to ensure machines produce quality partsResponsible for daily preventative maintenanceAssisting in the implementation of continuous improvement activitiesWork in a safe manner at all times. Works in compliance with TS-16949 standards.Will be responsible for increasing company profitability and improving employee working conditions by providing manufacturing departments with well-maintained equipment, while ensuring quality and ability to meet production requirements.Maintains due diligence in regard to environmental matters, minimize any potentially harmful accidents and work in compliance with ISO-14001.
