The Laundry Aide will be responsible for the washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, clothing, and other laundry items, ensuring quality standards are met.Laundry Aide Responsibilities:Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and residents' personal clothingOperate washing and drying machines according to manufacturer's instructionsInspect laundry for stains, damage, and repairs, notifying management when neededEnsure that all laundry items are properly stored and available as neededMaintain cleanliness of the laundry room and equipmentFollow health and safety guidelines, including infection control policiesWork collaboratively with other staff to support residents' comfort and well-beingLaundry Aide Requirements:Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settingsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail to ensure cleanliness and quality standardsPhysical ability to lift, push, and pull laundry loadsExcellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward residents
