You will participate in real client work, develop technical planning expertise, and build the communication and relationship skills essential to becoming a lead advisor.You will also join Wescott's NextGen Advisor Development Program, which provides mentorship, structured learning, and a clear progression toward advanced advisory roles.What You'll DoClient Relationship SupportPartner with Advisors to prepare for and participate in client meetingsHelp maintain strong, proactive client relationships through thoughtful communication and follow-upDevelop a working understanding of each client's goals, priorities, and evolving financial needsIdentify planning opportunities and collaborate with Senior Advisors on recommendationsFinancial Planning & Wealth ManagementAssist in developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive financial plansSupport investment and planning strategy execution aligned with client objectivesContribute to Wescott's quarterly client review processAnalyze financial data and prepare planning materials and recommendationsTeam Collaboration & GrowthWork cross-functionally with investment, operations, and client service teamsMaintain accurate documentation and consistent use of firm systems and workflowsContribute to knowledge sharing and support team initiativesActively engage in mentorship and professional development opportunitiesWhat Success Looks LikeWithin your first 12-24 months, you will:Build confidence participating in client conversationsDevelop technical planning proficiency across core wealth management topicsStrengthen analytical and advisory communication skillsProgress toward CFP® certification and expanded client responsibilitiesProfessional Development CommitmentWescott invests in developing future advisors through:Structured mentorship from senior professionalsHands-on client exposureCFP® exam support and professional development resourcesA clearly defined long-term career path within the firmWhy WescottAt Wescott, advising is a team sport.
